Darlene, LVT

Meet Darlene! Darlene is the head technician at Crescent Ridge. Darlene earned her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2003 from the Median School of Allied Health Careers and became board certified in 2004. She knew from a young age that going into a career working with animals was what she was meant to do. Darlene has gained her primary experience with our canine and feline friends through working general practice and volunteering with a trap and release (TNR) spay/neuter clinic. She has also enjoyed her experience working with a variety of exotic pets in clinics both during her time in Las Vegas as well as here in the Pittsburgh area. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping our four-legged family members live the best life possible. From basic care like vaccines to keep them healthy, to helping alleviate pain in our sick friends. Darlene also loves the challenge of gaining the trust of a spicy little dog. During her off time, she is obsessing over her Pomeranian fur children with her husband and taking care of a variety of pocket pets. Dar loves to travel to new places and in her down time enjoys needle felting.
